The Dublin Area Art League fall member’s show if currently taking place at the Dublin Community Recreation Center at 5600 Post Road in Dublin, Ohio, and the show looks great. With over forty artworks on display, this year’s exhibit is a excellent showing of the high level of talent and ability that the DAAL has long been known for. This year’s judge, well-know Lima, Ohio painter, Ruth Ann Sturgill said she had her work cut out for her in making the award selections. After much thought and deliberation, her choices were:
The Best in Show: “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” Patricia Getha
First Place: “Daydreams” Nancy St. Clair
Second Place: “Winter Geese” Stephanie Moon
Third Place: “One of Those Moments” Bonnie Smith
Fourth Place: “Receding Skyline” Bev Goldie
Honorable Mention: “Autumn Tapestry” Michelle Morris
Honorable Mention: “The Inception” Dennis Velco
The show will be on display through December 3rd, and is an excellent opportunity to view and purchase artworks created by some of Dublin’s best artistic talent. Be sure not to miss it.
