Annual Fundraiser Benefits Dublin Arts Council Programs


Dublin Arts Council Welcomes Spring with Garden Party

DUBLIN, Ohio— (April 2, 2013) Central Ohio residents can celebrate the blooms and blossoms of the season at the 10th annual Dublin Arts Council Garden Party on Fri., April 26 from 6:30 to 9:30pm in the lovely Kilgour Building atrium at the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) campus, 6565 Kilgour Place in Dublin. The evening features fine food from top area restaurants, two wine bars, a silent auction and more.

All event proceeds support Dublin Arts Council’s (DAC) many arts and arts education programs, including the 30th annual DAC Sundays at Scioto free summer concert series in Scioto Park, DAC’s Visual Arts Series in the only gallery of its kind in Dublin, summer ARTcamps for children and new, exciting Dublin Art in Public Places projects.

A variety of culinary offerings will be expertly prepared and served by some of the area’s finest, including Aladdin’s Eatery, Bleu & Fig, Bonefish Grill, Bravo Cucina Italiana, Café Istanbul, Cameron’s American Bistro, Jeni’s Ice Creams, Luce Enoteca, 101 Beer Kitchen, Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, The Conference Center at OCLC, and The Sisters Sweet Shoppe. A variety of fine wines will be provided by Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits.

This year’s Garden Party is hosted by honorary chairpersons Dave and Margie Amorose of Dublin. NBC 4 anchor Colleen Marshall will serve as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies and auctioneer for DAC’s first-ever live Garden Party auction. Additional support is provided by OCLC and CW Columbus television. Entertainment will be provided by pianist David Tolley.

The evening’s festivities will also feature CW Columbus’ CW Stars Cameron Fontana and Alissa Henry as hosts of the popular Garden Party Silent Auction, during which guests are invited to bid on a variety of offerings, including exceptional artwork, entertainment offerings, travel packages and more.

Tickets to the Garden Party may be purchased in advance at or by phone at 614.889.7444.  Admission is $100 per person and includes food and beverages. Corporate sponsorships are also available for group admissions. Attire is business after-hours / casual cocktail.
