2012 Fall Member Artist Exhibition - Dubling Area Art LeagueHello to all Current and Prospective Dublin Area Art League members!
 
This is a Call for Artists for entries for the Fall 2012 Show titled a "Burst of Color”. 

Your artwork need NOT have an autumn related theme.

Important Dates

Friday, November 2nd - Deadline to submit entry form & tag information for art. Email to Kar Shepherd at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or email Karen to request a physical mailing address.

Saturday November 10th - Drop off art at Dublin Recreation Center between 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.

Thursday November 15th - Reception & awards announcements. Dublin Recreation Center, 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

 Saturday December 8th - Pick up art between 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.

 

Eligibility

All up to date dues paying members of Dublin Area Art League may enter up to two pieces. In order to participate in the show, your dues for the year must be paid. You can pay them at the show or mail them to Valerie Bowerman at the following DAAL PO Box or contact her directly for other arrangements:

Entry Fee

Entry fee for one or two pieces is $15 payable to the Dublin Area Art League. All artwork must be original work of the member and not previously exhibited in a DAAL show. “Not for sale” works may be exhibited. All paintings must be wired for hanging. “Sawtooth” hangers will not be accepted. If paintings are not framed, edges must be finished. Paintings must be dry to the touch. Please include the dimensions of your painting if it is larger than 20” X 24”. Please note: No nudes may be displayed at the Dublin Recreation Center.

Prizes

Best of Show: $100; 1st Place: $75; 2nd Place: $50; 3rd Place: $25; 4th Place: $15; Honorable Mentions ribbons

 

Instructions

Complete entry form and tag information for each piece. Only include your phone # and/or email address on your tag information if you want it included on the tag to be displayed with your art at the Rec Center. Release of Liability

Participating artists must sign this art show waiver of liability before haning their artwork in the Dublin Recreation Center.  Click this like to down load the Dublin Recreation Center - Art Show Waiver of Liability form.
